Cape Point, Peninsula & Penguins (CD 01)

This magnificent nature tour of "The Fairest Cape in the World", presents unparalleled photo opportunities.

Winelands (CD 02)

Tour the beautiful winelands – visit beautiful wine estates and local towns amidst lush, mountain scenery. Highlights include:  

- A cellar tour and wine tasting at one of the wine estates

- The historical town of Stellenbosch

- The (French) Huguenot Monument and Museum

- Quaint Franschhoek, and Paarl

- And finally Bloubergstrand, with its world-renowned view of Table Mountain from across the bay.

City and Table Mountain (CD 03)

Starting at the summit of Table Mountain, enjoy a panoramic view of the city, Table Bay, Robben Island and parts of the Atlantic seaboard. Amble through the Malay Quarter with its narrow cobbled streets and colourful mosques. Stroll to the National Gallery, SA Museum and view the Houses of Parliament, City Hall on the Grand Parade and the Castle. Visit the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront with its many shops, boutiques, pubs, restaurants and entertainment. You may leave the tour here to explore on your own. Optional boat cruises.

Robben Island (CD 04)

We will book your seats on the ferry to the island where Nelson Mandela was incarcerated.

Rhino and Lion Park (DA 18)

View rhino, lion, cheetah, wild dog and twenty other species of game in idyllic conditions.

Pilanesberg Game Reserve (DA 19)

Depart from your hotel at 06h30 for brunch at Pilanesberg. A full day of game viewing in a reserve that boasts Africa's Big Five.  Brunch included. Return to your hotel at 18h00.


De Wildt Cheetah Breeding Station (DA 20)

The breeding station was established in 1971 with the purpose of saving this and other endangered species. A lecture is given on arrival. Learn more about the King cheetah, followed by a full tour of the breeding station. Return to your hotel. Tuesday/Thursday, Saturday/ Sunday only.

Cradle of Humankind (DA 21)

This half day tour entails a visit to the 2200 million year old Sterkfontein caves. Descend 40m into the cave, described as one of the most beautiful in South Africa. This was where the remains of early hominids were discovered, particularly the 2.15 million year old skull of ‘Mrs Ples’, excavated by Dr Robert Broom and John T Robinson in April 1947. Visit Maropeng, where you can enjoy multi-media and special effects presentations on the origins of mankind, and even take a boat ride on an underground lake.

Johannesburg Cultural Day Tours Johannesburg City Tour (DA10) Tour the economic capital of South Africa, home to the stock exchange, historical buildings, parks and the affluent homes of the northern suburbs. A highlight of this tour is a visit to the Apartheid Museum.and Constitution Square.


Pretoria City Tour (DA 11)

This is South Africa's capital city. Visit the Voortrekker Monument, Church Square, the Union Buildings,(seat of government), and drive past the official house of the President and into the ‘diplomatic’ suburbs.

Sun City (DA 12)

A hotel and entertainment complex set amidst the Pilanesberg Mountains includes casinos, movie theatres, restaurants sporting facilities and much more. Explore the wonders of the 'Lost City' and lap up the fun at the Valley of the Waves.

Gold Reef City (DA 13)

Relive the gold boom of the 1800s at this old Johannesburg mining town. Take a trip underground into an original old gold mine and watch a gold pour. Enjoy entertainment such as horse and carriage rides, rollercoasters and restaurants. Closed Mondays.

Soweto tour (DA 14)

Visit the biggest city in southern Africa. Steeped in apartheid history and the most televised township in the world. See the houses of the wealthy, cheek by jowl with the tin shacks of the poor.

Kwandabele(DA 15)

Visit the Ndebele village with its colourful houses, all hand-painted in African designs. Stop off at the doll makers, lunch at an African restaurant, and visit the Catholic Mission, a tribute to the Ndebele people.

Mzumba Tribal Dance (DA 16)

Enjoy a typical barbecue lunch followed by a performance of an African operetta, rain dance ceremony, plus traditional song and dance of southern African tribes. (Sunday only)

Lesedi Cultural Village (DA 17)

This multi-cultural African village is set amongst pristine bushveld and rocky hills. Situated at Lesedi are four traditional homesteads of the Zulu, Xhosa, Pedi and Basotho tribes. Your cultural experience commences with a traditional welcome and tour of the homesteads followed by an exciting tribal dance display. A feast of ethnic dishes from South Africa ends the tour.
