Africa’s Dwindling Giants

On this tour we focus primarily on the current status of the black, as well as white rhino, the African elephant and the pressures 
which threaten their existence. We visit the Damaraland and Kaokeveld areas of Namibia where the desert rhino and elephant are 
found. We visit Addo Elephant Park in the Eastern Cape where a population of elephant and both rhino species are thriving.

We also spend time in the Hluhluwe/Umfulozi reserve in KwaZulu-Natal, the black as well as white ‘rhino bank’ of the world. 
The tour concludes with a visit to the world renowned Kruger National Park and the private reserves which border it.

Wilderness Haven

This tour focuses on areas of vast wilderness and ecological diversity. The areas visited include the Kgalagadi Transfrontier 
Park (formerly Kalahari Gemsbok Park), Kruger Park and Richtersveld National Park in South Africa, the central Kalahari 
in Botswana and the Etosha Game Reserve in Namibia. A truly ‘far out’ experience.

Origins of Mankind

This tour is designed to explore the origins of mankind in Africa, more specifically southern Africa. Places that will be 
visited include Sterkfontein Caves, Makapansgat, Thulamela (excavation site), the Limpopo Valley and Klasies River. Specialist 
presenters will be available to host you at each of these sites.

Africa’s Largest Predators and their Ecological Functioning

This tour concentrates on predators, ranging from the aardwolf through to the lion. Much research has been done on Africa's 
predators and it is the resultant knowledge of each of the predators we would like to share with you. We also investigate the 
plight of many of Africa's larger predators due to population and habitat pressures. Areas which are visited include Kgalagadi  
and the Kruger Park.
